Living in the UK means that summer dressing is becoming increasingly difficult as I don’t know if it’s just me but our summers seem to be getting worse by the year! We currently seem to be having a spate of decent weather but who knows how long it will last? I have come up with 3 daytime looks which are pretty flexible if there is a shower or a chill and will hopefully give you some ideas if you get stuck on Summer dressing.
70s Boho Chic
A denim button up midi skirt is a great building block for any summer outfit and this version is from Forever 21. The floaty yellow top is from Zara and is from last summer but there are so many pretty tops in store at the moment and this would work well with an off the shoulder number too. The tie up sandals are from Topshop and the sunglasses are from New Look.
Classic Jeans and T-shirt
There are so many variations on this look and you can change the jacket and footwear according to the weather or occasion. I love these distressed Zara jeans which were £16 in the sale, along with this New Look light bomber jacket which was reduced to £15 – bargain! My espadrilles are from River Island and the top is an old one from Primark.
Sports Day
Relaxed separates are great for running errands or lazy days and they also go with comfy trainers. You can add a baseball or a top with a logo to up the sports factor or just keep it simple. I love this Forever 21 skirt as it’s like lounging around in a tracksuit but looks slightly more elegant! The T-shirt is from New Look and the trainers are from adidas at Footlocker
